<div class="">We would like to invite you to participate in the 2018 AAAC 4TU.H&T Winterschool on Affective Computing and Social Signal Processing with the special theme "(Serious) Games and Training", to be held March 12th - March 16th, 2018 in Noordwijk,
The Netherlands. The venue is nicely located in a hotel in the Dutch dunes and close to the sea.</div>

<div class="">The goal for this winterschool is to educate PhD students and talented MSc students into the different aspects of affect and social signal processing, while at the same time providing an opportunity to meet and network with junior and senior researchers.</div>

<div class="">The character of the winterschool will be research challenge driven. To focus the week, we decided on the theme (Serious) Games and Training. The activities of the winterschool will include lectures, brainstorming around a research challenge,
and practical group-based work focussed on making a rough solution for a challenge. In addition, there will be plenty of opportunity to meet your international peers, and to mingle with junior and senior researchers. The following researchers have already

<div class="">The winterschool is geared towards PhD students working on topics related to Affective Computing and Social Signal Processing. We also welcome MSc students who are in the process of finishing their MSc thesis. However, priority is given to PhD
students. There are max. 30 places available. If the number of participants exceeds the number of places available, we will make a selection based on your CV, your motivation letter, whether you are a PhD or MSc student, and whether you are able to attend
the school for the whole week or not.</div>

<div class="">This winterschool is heavily sponsored by 4TU and SIKS. However, a small fee is asked covering the whole week:</div>

<div class="">300 euros for all other students (double room occupancy)</div>
<div class="">If you want a single room, you pay 100 euros extra (first come first serve).</div>
