<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class=""><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><b class=""><span lang="EN-GB" class="">Permanent Faculty positions available in The Centre for Social, Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (cSCAN), University of Glasgow<o:p class=""></o:p></span></b></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-GB" class="">The Centre for Social, Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience (cSCAN) at The University of Glasgow is actively pursuing key appointments to enrich our Centre’s internationally connected and influential research environment. </span>We broadly seek researchers who will contribute to the strengths of cSCAN’s broader research agenda and <span lang="EN-GB" class="">international reputation in </span>social perception, social cognition, and social interaction. cSCAN is a unique, highly interdisciplinary environment, involving researchers in psychology, neuroscience and computer science who employ a wide variety of behavioral methods, neuroscience methods (e.g., fMRI, MEG) and computational modeling.<span lang="EN-GB" class=""><o:p class=""></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Of particular interest are researchers who will strengthen the University of Glasgow’s artificial social intelligence group, a collaboration between cSCAN and Computing Science that develops, implements, and assesses software agents, virtual<span lang="EN-GB" class=""> humans and robots capable of multi-modal social interaction with people.
