Rooted in pioneering research on visual interfaces characterized by a distinctive attention to the human factor, the conference has evolved across the different waves of Human-Computer Interaction. It has addressed the pragmatic and hedonic needs of heterogeneous groups of users up to the current challenge of self-actualization. Creativity is a core behavior that leads to the realization of a person�s full potential, and the explosion of generative AI presents both opportunities and challenges to human creativity. They address fundamental issues related to agencies, interfaces, and ethics.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> AVI 2026 will take place in San Servolo, a small island in Venice. This delicate and fragile ecosystem provides the ideal venue for reflecting, reframing, and speculating about creative solutions to more sustainable, inclusive and rewarding technological futures.
