<div>It looks like the character encoding is wrong when converting MARC-XML to MARC-in-JSON (e.g. Latvian special characters get distorted during export).</div>

<div>MARC-XML is encoded in UTF-8 and MARC-in-JSON should also be UTF-8 by default so this should not be an issue.</div>
