We plan to recruit three PhD students at Goldsmiths on the IGGI programme to start in September 2016.

See www.iggi.org.uk<http://www.iggi.org.uk/> for further details - but highlights of the PhD programme are:

· A cohort of 35+ PhD students all conducting research into games topics with 11 or 12 PhD students at each of the Universities of York, London (Goldsmiths) and Essex.
· A 4-year programme which includes around 6 months of intensive training in research skills, game programming, games design and advanced game-related topics, given at 3 sites at the Universities of York, London (Goldsmiths) and Essex.
· Research topics in Intelligent Games (advancing research AI, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphics, Audio, Software engineering, etc. and working with our games industry partners to embed that research into better commercial games).
· Research topics in Game Intelligence (advancing research the use of digital games for outcomes in science, society and culture, for example to understand the economies of game worlds, to build games to engage and inform voters, to build games for therapy and education, ...).
