International Conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction 2019

We are delighted to announce that the International Conference on Affective Computing and Intelligent Interaction 2019 - the 8th International Bi-annual Conference of the Association for the Advancement of Affective Computing (AAAC, formerly known as Humaine) will take place in September, 2019 at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.

We envision 2019 to be the year by when the affective computing technologies leave their sheltered lab environments to become available and accessible to everyone in every domain, including industry, school, office, home, entertainment and even outdoor environments. Therefore, ACII 2019 will be based around the theme of Affective Computing for ALL (AC4ALL) and will focus on inclusive technology, inclusive design principles and inclusive user interfaces which "consider the full range of human diversity with respect to ability, language, culture, gender, age and other forms of human difference."

The General Chairs of ACII’19 are Hatice Gunes, Michel Valstar, Björn Schuller and Jonathan Gratch. The Program Chairs of ACII’19 are Julien Epps, Nadia Berthouze, and Rosalind W. Picard. A full list of the organising committee, together with the website will be provided soon.
