Workshop at ACM IVA 2019 (Paris) on 
"Interactive Assistants: How does their increasing ubiquity and intelligence impact users´ lives?“

As we now have compiled an attractive program for the IVA workshop “Interactive Assistants:
How does their increasing ubiquity and intelligence impact users´ lives” we invite participants
which will discuss with us about the increasingly important ethical, legal and social implications
of intelligent assistants in everyday life.

Time: July 2nd, 1pm-5pm

Location: Room 211 at Paris-6 University ("Jussieu"/"UPMC"/"Sorbonne Université")

Program:

1pm -- Keynote by Prof. Arne Manzeschke (Ethics; Ev. Hochschule Nuernberg)
Title: What does it mean to interact with an Artificial Intelligence? Some ethical remarks on socio-technological arrangements

2pm -- Presentation of accepted position papers (7 minutes each) and corresponding discussions

3pm -- Small break-out discussion groups on implications of interactive assistants on everyday life

4pm -- Plenary discussion with invited experts on future necessities and interdisciplinary research
