SIGDIAL 2021 Conference
July 29-31, 2021
https://www.sigdial.org/files/workshops/conference22/
Early Registration Deadline: June 22, 2021
Late Registration Deadline: July 28, 2021

The 22nd Annual Meeting of the Special Interest Group on Discourse and
Dialogue (SIGDIAL 2021) will be held on July 29-31, 2021 in Singapore
as an in-person and online hybrid conference. The organizers of
SIGDIAL 2021 invite all researchers and practitioners, SIGDial
members, SIGDIAL 2021 industry partners and sponsors, and participants
of ACL-IJCNLP 2021 to join the conference.

The SIGDIAL venue provides a regular forum for the presentation of
cutting-edge research in discourse and dialogue to both academic and
industry researchers. Continuing a series of 21 successful previous
meetings, this conference spans the research interest areas of
discourse and dialogue. The conference is sponsored by the SIGdial
organization, which serves as the Special
Interest Group on discourse and dialogue for both ACL and ISCA.

SIGDIAL 2021 features 3 keynote speeches by Raymond J. Mooney, Jason
Weston, and Julia Hirschberg, as well as regular paper presentations.
As we are overcoming the impact of COVID-19, the organizers seek to
offer affordable registration
(http://www.colips.org/conferences/sigdial2021/wp/registration/) for
the conference while still delivering a best-in-class experience. The
organizers are applying for a physical event under the MICE event
pilots in Singapore. All approvals and MICE event pilots will be
subject to the prevailing safe management measures
(https://www.stb.gov.sg/content/stb/en/home-pages/advisory-for-MICE.html)
at the time. We will update the conference website regularly.

In view of the COVID-19 situation, we expect that most international
participants will join the conference remotely, while the local
participants join physically. Updated information on Singapore’s
border control measures in response to COVID-19 can be found on the
ICA website (https://www.ica.gov.sg/news-and-publications/public-education/updates-on-border-control-measures).
Information on the SG Arrival Card with Electronic Health Declaration
can be found at https://icaeservices.ica.gov.sg/sgarrivalcard/

We thank you for your support and look forward to welcoming you at the
conference. Stay safe and healthy!
