The 23rd Annual Meeting of the Special Interest Group on Discourse and
Dialogue (SIGDIAL 2022) will be held on September 7-9, 2022 in Edinburgh as
an in-person and online hybrid conference. The organizers of SIGDIAL 2022
invite all researchers and practitioners, SIGDial members, and SIGDIAL 2022
industry partners and sponsors to join the conference.
The SIGDIAL venue provides a regular forum for the presentation of
cutting-edge research in discourse and dialogue to both academic and
industry researchers. Continuing a series of 22 successful previous
meetings, this conference spans the research interest areas of discourse
and dialogue. The conference is sponsored by the SIGdial organization,
which serves as the Special Interest Group on discourse and dialogue for
both ACL and ISCA.
SIGDIAL 2022 features 3 keynote speeches by Yun-Nung (Vivian) Chen,
Angeliki Lazaridou, and Giuseppe Carenini, as well as regular paper
presentations and demonstrations.
*COVID policy* : all participants are required to wear a facemask (e.g.
N95 or FFP2) in the auditorium, apart from the speaker. If attending
in-person, please ensure that you are either vaccinated, tested, or
recovered from COVID-19.
We are monitoring the COVID situation closely and your safety while
attending the conference in-person is our priority.
We thank you for your support and look forward to welcoming you at the
conference!
