[iva] Call for attendance: The 8:th Furhat Research Conference on Social Robotics

Dear community members,

We are pleased to announce the 8th Furhat Conference on Social Robotics, which will take place online next week on Tuesday, 29th of April 2025 from 5:00 PM - 6:40 PM CEST. This annual event brings together an international community of researchers, developers, and practitioners working in the field of human-robot interaction, social robotics, cognitive science and social psychology, among others, to foster discussion, exchange of ideas, and collaboration around the future of human-robot interaction.
Themed "The Human in Humanoids: Advancing Research in Human-Robot Interaction" the conference will address current challenges and opportunities for advancing research in light of the push for commercial mass deployment of humanoid robots into human workspaces and society as a whole. With a focus on face-to-face interaction, human perception of robots and designing human-robot interactions in the wild,  it will feature keynote talks from academic experts in the field such as Dr. Bahar Irfan, Dr. Theodoros Georgiou, Dr. David Robb, PhD student Bruce WIlson and more, as well as announcements from the Furhat team. It is a unique opportunity to  get insights into the most recent research trends, share insights, and build connections within the community. Attendance is free, don't miss to register!
