Dear Colleagues,
Apologies for cross-posting.
Early Bird Registration of the 13th International Conference on Affective
Computing and Intelligent Interaction (ACII 2025) will close on *23 August
2025 (AoE)*.
The ACII 2025 organising committee is delighted to bring the ACII
conference series to Australia for the first time. ACII 2025 will be an
in-person event held at the Hotel Realm conference venue in Canberra,
Australia on 8-11 Oct 2025.
The ACII conference series – organized by the Association for the
Advancement of Affective Computing (AAAC, formerly known as Humaine) – is
the premier international venue for interdisciplinary research on the
design of systems that can recognise, interpret, and simulate human
emotions and, more generally, affective phenomena.

*Important Notes to All Delegates*
- At least one non-student author must register for every accepted paper
by the camera-ready deadline for accepted papers to be published in the
proceedings and scheduled for presentation during the conference or
workshops. Papers without registered author(s) will be withdrawn from the
proceedings and the technical program.
- Every paper should be covered by at least one non-student registration
(i.e., we must have at least one full registration for each paper). One
full registration covers one paper. Please don’t forget to indicate the
number of the accepted paper you want to cover with your registration in
the designated field when registering in the registration form. Any
exceptions to this rule will only be made on a well-motivated, case-by-case
basis by the main conference chairs.
- A student registration is sufficient to cover a doctoral consortium
(DC) paper.
- “Member” refers to membership in the Association for the Advancement
of Affective Computing (AAAC). If you are not a member at the time of
registration, you will have to register as a non-member for the conference.
The price is higher, but you become an AAAC member automatically for two
years.
- For a “member” registration, your AAAC membership should be active at
the time of registration. If this is not the case and you select a member
registration, you will be charged the AAAC membership fee and you will
become a member when checking in at the conference registration desk.
- If you select the student rate, you must provide proof of your student
status at the registration desk (e.g., student ID issued by your
institution, a letter from your adviser, etc.).
- Full and student registrations cover access to all sessions across the
entire conference, including workshops and tutorials, morning tea, lunch,
afternoon tea, welcome reception, and gala dinner.
- The workshop/tutorial day registration only gives access to attend the
sessions on the Workshop/Tutorial Day (Saturday, 11 Oct 2025).
Please visit our official website at
https://acii-conf.net/2025/registration/ for further details.
We look forward to welcoming you to ACII 2025.
Best regards,
The ACII 2025 Organizing Committee
