[librecat-dev] Using Catmandu with Catmandu::Importer::MARC?

Dear colleagues,

I was using Catmandu for some time now on my Fedora and it provided a
very valuable service for me, especially when I needed to produce linked
data based on the original MARCXML data :-)! So a big thank you goes out
to all the developers who have made Catmandu a reality!

However, lately (as of Fedora 41) I have not been able to successfully
use it to process MARCXML data, even after multiple attempts to install
it again.

Therefore, I have tried the Docker image
(https://github.com/LibreCat/docker-catmandu) but, unfortunately, to no
avail:

Oops! Can't find the importer 'MARC' in your configuration file or
Catmandu::Importer::MARC is not installed.
Error: No such package: Catmandu::Importer::MARC
Package name: Catmandu::Importer::MARC

If I list the compiled Catmandu modules inside the Docker image, the
Catmandu::Importer::MARC is missing.

When trying to compile a new Docker image, I was unsuccessful because
repositories for Debian Jessie are unavailable as Jessie has already
reached its end of life.

Do you think you can recommend/share a functional Docker image with the
MARC module or a Linux distribution (to run inside of a virtual machine)
where it is likely that the installation including the MARC module would
work fine?

Thank you very much for any clues!

Best,

Linda
