�� Call for Papers – ITL4HRI @ RO-MAN 2025 ��
�� Workshop: Interactive Task Learning in Human-Robot Co-Construction
�� The 34th IEEE International Conference on Robot and Human Interactive
Communication (RO-MAN 2025), to be held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. 25th
of August 2025.

EASE PIs Kümpel, Beetz, Sciutti, and Wrede initiated the first Workshop on
Interactive Task learning in Human-Robot co-construction (ITL4HRI), to be
held at RO-MAN 2025.

�� This workshop will explore how physical and social interaction,
cognitive science, and multimodal communication can empower robots to
develop flexible, context-sensitive task understanding.

Contribution:
•  Full papers [8-12 pages], Original and completed work, including mature
results and an evaluation
•  Short papers [4-7 pages] Work in progress/ Position paper / Small
focused contributions with preliminary results
•  Extended abstracts of recent journal papers [1-2 pages]: An extended
abstract of their recently published journal articles within the field of
AI and cognition. The original article should be accepted and published no
earlier than 2023.

�� Topics include (but are not limited to):
•  Approaches and frameworks to interactive and adaptive task learning
•  Methods for learning in a co-construction setting
•  Transfer Learning, Learning from Demonstration with feedback
•  Approaches to learn from experience
•  User studies in co-construction and task learning
•  Cognitive Architectures for Interactive Learning in Robots
